With increase in demand for agriculture sector, the Eastern Power Distribution Company of AP Limited (APEPDCL) has decided to impose one-day a week power holiday for industries and increase load relief for the domestic sector from the current two to three hours a day.

APEPDCL said the ‘certain regulation of power’ to industries is purely on temporary basis till the standing crop is harvested.
