Home Minister to launch I-CLIK kiosk

Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister N. Chinarajappa will inaugurate the first I-CLIK (Instant- Complaint Login Internet Kiosk), here in the city on Tuesday.

I-CLIK is the first of its kind facility to enable general public, especially women to get closer to the police department. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) T. Ravi Kumar Murthy says women are generally apprehensive about visiting a police station to file a complaint. Now with the setting up of the kiosk, a woman can walk into the kiosk and register a complaint online, he told The Hindu .
