The Tata Consultancy Services has given A grade accreditation to Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (Autonomous).

A high-power committee of TCS, which visited the college during December 2014, was satisfied with its infrastructure, qualified faculty, staff, results, placement status into various MNCs and other important processes like advanced pedagogy, teaching-learning and evaluation processes, accreditations awarded by NBA, NAAC and other organisations, college principal A.B. Koteswara Rao said on Tuesday. The team also appreciated the quality of the alumni placed with TCS in the past few years.

Placement

More than 1,500 students of GVPCE joined TCS during the last five years.

The institution prides itself on placing more than 1,500 students in TCS alone in the past five years.

Dr. Koteswara Rao and Dean (training and placement) P. Venkata Rao received the award from vice-president and regional head of TCS V. Rajanna at a function held at the TCS corporate office.
