Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation is conducting summer coaching camp – 2015 from May 21 to June 6. The camp will be held at the zonal level including merging municipalities Anakapalle and Bheeminupatnam under the control of Zonal Commissioners and local MLAs. The timings for the camp are 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Boys and girls in the age group of 10-18 years from all eight zones in the GVMC limits can participate. The camp is aimed to instil sportsmen spirit and develop physical fitness and mental ability among the participants. Eight events will be held during the camp – boxing, shuttle, football, basketball, kabaddi, volley ball, kho-kho and yoga. GVMC will provide sports and games materials, participation and merit certificates, medals, mementoes to the participants and make necessary arrangements. The entire summer camp will be monitored by Director of Sports, GVMC with the guidelines from Commissioner, GVMC and Additional Commissioner (Gen) GVMC.
