The Endowments Department is organising a ‘Sobha Yatra’ to Rajahmundry on the occasion of the Godavari Pushkarams to be organised from July 14 to 25, Collector N. Yuvaraj has said.
Those who are ready to walk up to Rajahmundry can participate in the yatra. The schedule would be finalised by the government. The yatra would be accompanied by ambulances, water tank, a bus for those needing rest, and police bandobust.
The participants return with the Godavari water and they would be received in a ceremonial manner by people’s representatives and district authorities.
