Get DGCA nod early, Pawan Hans told

On its part VUDA has made all the required arrangements and it is for Pawan Hans to get the necessary approvals from the Director General of Civil Aviation to start heli-tourism, District Collector Pravin Kumar has said.

At a meeting with the public sector helicopter services company representatives, he said heli-tourism was proposed to give a boost to tourism in Visakhapatnam and keeping it in view operations should be launched avoiding any further delay. However, any help necessary would be extended in getting the approvals, he assured them.

Commander Sujith Reddy of the Navy spoke on the issues of “No fly zone” and route map.
