HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao held a meeting with officials of various departments concerned on the arrangements for ‘Giri Pradakshinam’ (circumambulation) of Simhachalam hill on Guru Poornima from July 26 morning. Devotees should have the darshan of the deity Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha by the afternoon on July 27 as the temple will be closed before lunar eclipse.
He directed RTC to run 40 buses and the devasthanam 10 free buses to and from the hill. Collector Pravin Kumar, DCP T. Ravi Kumar Murthy and Executive Officer K. Ramachandra Mohan participated in the meeting.
