Foreign delegates visit EPDCL office in city

A 15-member team from 12 countries along with the Central Institute for Rural Electrification(CIRE) team from Hyderabad visited the corporate office of the Eastern Power Distribution Company of AP Limited (APEPDCL) here on Wednesday.

Chief General Manager (O&CS)of EPDCL V.Krishan explained to them the various initiatives taken by EPDCL like distribution management and other important aspects like anytime payment (ATP) machines, customer care centres, call centre and spot-billing system.

General Manager (Energy Audit) K.V.V.Satynarayana and team made a presentation on distribution management.

Later, the team visited Advanced Technology Centre situated on the corporate Office premises to know the working of SCADA and Interactive Automatic Meter Reading (IAMR).

Central Institute for Rural Electrification (CIRE) is the training wing of Rural Electrification Corporation of Govt of India and its team was on a field visit to EPDCL.
