Flesh trade racket busted

The City Task Force (CTF) arrested one organiser and two customers under the Immoral Trafficking Act in a raid at a brothel in Chandrapuri Colony under Gopalapatnam police station limits on Friday.

The CTF also rescued one girl from Guntur district in the operation.

The CTF seized four cell phones and over Rs. 9,300 in cash.

The organiser was identified as K. Adilakshmi (29).

In another raid, the CTF arrested K. Durga Rao (31) for running a prostitution racket from a house in Nandagiri Nagar in Akkayyapalem under Fourth Town police station limits.

The police also arrested one customer and rescued a girl.
