More than 20 singers from Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam are taking part in the two-day programme ‘Balagandharvula Padana Telugu Pata’ being organised jointly by Delhi Telugu Academy (DTA) and Little Musicians Academy (LMA) here from Saturday.

Devotional songs were sung on Saturday at Kalabhrathi auditorium as part of the programme. On Sunday, singers will exhibit their expertise by belting out film songs at Gurajada Kalakshetram which will begin at 6 p.m.

Explaining the objective of the fifth edition of the summer event, music director and founder of LMA K. Ramachary and general secretary of DTA N.V.L. Nagaraju said: “Singing is an inborn skill which needs to be unlocked at the right time. The basic concept of this annual event is to create an avenue for budding singers, tap their potential, and help them polish their skills.”
