EAMCET: official lists dos and don’ts for aspirants

In all, 23,793 students will be writing the AP EAMCET on Friday in the Visakhapatnam region.

Of them, 17,187 will be attempting the engineering stream, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 6,606 will be writing the agriculture and medical stream to be held from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. According to EAMCET Regional Coordinator K. Venkata Subbaiah, the candidates will be allowed into the hall from 9.15 a.m. for the morning session and 1.45 p.m. for the afternoon session.

No candidates would be allowed after 10 a.m. and 2.30 p.m., he said.

Candidates will not be allowed to come out till the end of the examination. Candidates will have to use ball point pens, blue or black colour, instead of pencil. Candidates are also advised not to fold the OMR sheets.

Apart from hall-ticket, filled-in online application form, and pen, candidates will not be allowed to take anything else. Electronic items such as cell phones and calculators are strictly prohibited.

The filled-in online application form should contain the photograph of the candidate attested by a gazetted officer or principal of the college where one has studied. The application form has to be submitted to the invigilator after signing and giving the left hand thumb impression in the presence of the invigilator.

SC and ST candidates will have to submit an attested copy of the caste certificate along with confirmation page to the invigilator.

After writing the examination, the candidates should return the OMR sheet, filled-in online application, and the attested copy of the caste certificate (SC and ST students only) to the invigilator.
