CPI leader slams AP, TS on Section 8

Why is the Telugu Desam continuing in the Modi-led NDA government when the Centre failed to implement the provisions of the State Reorganisation Act even after one year, CPI State secretary K. Ramakrishna questioned here on Saturday.

“What is our Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu doing when the Centre is dragging its feet on implementing the provisions of the Act like special funds to Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema, Polavaram project, establishment of the Central educational institutions and taking care of budget deficit of the State?” Mr. Ramakrishna asked at a press conference.

He blamed both the AP and Telangana Chief Ministers for diverting the public attention from the development works in their respective States by provoking people on the Section 8 issue.
