Congress activists join TDP

A large number of Congress cadre from several panchayats of Bheemunipatnam constituency joined the TDP on Wednesday.

Annavaram sarpanch Durgalamma and several former sarpanches and their followers from Annavaram, Kusuluvada, Mamidilova, Sonthyam and Chepala Uppada joined the party in the presence of MLA Avanthi Srinivasa Rao and former Minister R.S.D.P. Appala Narasimha Raju. The two visited the constituency together with enthusiastic cadres supporting them.

Poster released

Releasing a poster of the BC declaration announced by Telugu Desam president and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, former MP M.V. V.S. Murthy on Wednesday said BCs always stood by the Telugu Desam Party.

Mr. Naidu was the first to announce Chief Ministership for a leader from backward classes and 100 seats for BCs and other welfare measures. Former MLA S.A. Rahaman was present.

The poster was brought out by Sanapala Panduranga Rao.
