To ease traffic congestion at the Siripuram Junction, Commissioner of Police Amit Garg has suggested a few changes in the flow of traffic at the junction on an experimental basis.

ADCP (Traffic) K. Mahendra Patrudu said that the changes had come into force from Friday.

Explaining the changes, ACP K. Prabhakar said that vehicles moving from VIP Road to Circuit House would have to take a left turn at the Dutt Island and then take a right to proceed towards Siripuram. Vehicles coming from Circuit House towards the Three Town Police station would have to take a left turn at Dutt Island and then take a right to proceed towards the police station.

Similarly, vehicles coming from CR Reddy Junction and moving towards the Three Town Police Station should not take a right turn at the Siripuram Circle and instead proceed straight and then take the right turn at the Dutt Island.

The Commissioner of Police said that the changes had been made on an experimental basis and if things work out, the route changes would continue.
