SCR employee trapped in DA case

The CBI Visakhapatnam Branch registered a case against Divisional Engineer-West, South Central Railway, Guntur, T. Subrahmanyeswara Rao, on June 5 for amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income from January 2011 to March 2015. According to the CBI, the employee has amassed moveable and immovable properties valued at Rs. 30,68,690 in his name and in the names of his family members. SP R. Gopala Krishna Rao said that acting on a tip-off, the CBI conducted searches at the residence and office of Mr. Subrahmanyeswara Rao and his family members in Guntur, West Godavari, and Krishna districts, and seized several incriminating documents.
