CBI JD visits special court

Joint Director of CBI V.V. Lakshminarayana on Thursday visited the premises of Special Courts for CBI cases at Pithapuram colony here. He had held discussions with the three Judges of the court and went round the premises of the courts located in a rented building.

Joint Director of CBI V.V. Lakshminarayana on Thursday visited the premises of Special Courts for CBI cases at Pithapuram colony here. He had held discussions with the three Judges of the court and went round the premises of the courts located in a rented building.

The visit by CBI officer who is heading the investigation into the cases against YSR Congress leader and Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and also the case of alleged irregular allotment of land by VUDA the Central agency is probing into, gained some attention, but later talking to reporters Mr. Lakshminarayana said he came here to examine the infrastructure available in the courts’ premises (recently two more CBI courts were sanctioned to the city) and the cases pending in the courts.

On the VUDA case he said that the investigation was in its preliminary stage.
