Marking the end of ‘Swachhta hi Seva’ campaign from September 15 to October 2, NGO Chaitanya Sravanthi organised an awareness programme on segregation of waste and aerobic and vermi compost making at Hotel Budhil Park here on Monday.
Former MLA S. A. Rahman stressed the importance of awareness among women on segregation.
AP Federation of RWAs president Uday Shirname, Chaitanya Sravanti president Shirin Rahman and Usha Gajapathi demonstrated the two methods.
