A burglar was arrested and 120 gm gold and 500 gm silver ornaments, all valued at ₹ 6 lakh, were recovered from him by the City Police on Saturday.
D. Rajiv Gandhi (28) of Madhurawada was involved in 25 thefts during the last 10 years. He was addicted to vices and took to crime to meet his lavish lifestyle. He was arrested several times and was jailed but on coming out, he took to his old ways.
