Brace up for prolonged struggle

Charging the Narendra Modi and Chandrababu Naidu governments with curtailing workers’ rights, CPI(M) State secretary P. Madhu called for a continuous struggle to safeguard workers’ interests.

Addressing the ninth city conference of the party in Visakhapatnam on Monday, he said the party workers should fight on local problems along with worker-related issues.

Right from the day the Modi government assumed office it burdened people’s lives with increasing railway fares, reducing subsidies, diluting employment guarantee scheme, among other things, Mr. Madhu said.
