Ayyanna’s take on transfers

May 25, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:57 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

Accusing the previous dispensation of troubling officials amenable to TDP, Panchayat Raj Minister Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu said the government knew how to utilise their services.

Addressing the party’s district mini-Mahanadu at AMCOSA Auditorium here on Sunday, he said kowtowing officials were favoured during the Congress rule.

Quoting his reply to a question by a media person elsewhere on official transfers, he said, “Media would do their job and we ours.”

The credit for implementing the debt relief to farmers and to DWCRA members went to Mr. Chandrababu Naidu in spite of Congress’ illogical bifurcation leaving with a deficit budget of Rs.16,000 crore and a debt of Rs.18,000 crore. He was improving upon the welfare schemes of NTR who always worked for the poor and founded the party with high ideals. The achievement of railway zone for Visakhapatnam was a joint effort of TDP and BJP, he said.

Anakapalle MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao pointed out that 24X7 power supply, quickly restoring water and power supply after cyclone Hudhud and turning Vizag an international city through Smart City project were the major achievements of TDP government.
