Autonomous status for MVGR College

MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram, was conferred autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC) from the current academic year to 2020-21.

Conferment of autonomy entitles the institution the freedom to design curriculum and introduce courses and academic programmes, which would enhance the employability skills of the students, said College principal K.V.L. Raju.

Earlier, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) reaccredited the institution with ‘A’ grade till 2020.

MANSAS Trust chairman P. Anand Gajapathi Raju, vice-chairman and Union Civil Aviation Minister P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, and correspondent A. Raghava Rao congratulated the students and the staff on the achievement.
