It evinces interest in technology transfer in healthcare sector

Australia India Business Council (AIBC) has evinced interest to associate with the AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) to explore and invest in the field of health care and education in the State, through mutual understanding and transfer of technical know-how.

Federation president G. Sambasiva Rao welcomed Margaret Faux-founder and CEO Synapse Medical Services and Chairman of Health Committee of Australia India Business Council to Visakhapatnam and spoke about opportunities for mutual exploration.

While meeting the CEOs of the corporate hospitals in the health city here, , Ms. Faux appreciated the government’s ideas of improving accessibility to quality healthcare services for the underprivileged through harnessing the private sector by providing largest health insurance schemes.

She also expressed keenness to partner in the areas of investments where she might be able to assist one another’s growth strategies over the coming years in Andhra Pradesh. Synapse Medical Services has presence in Chennai in handling outsourcing operations such as managing bill payments, maintenance of patient records, processing insurance claims and virtual receptionist for fixing appointments with doctors and insurance companies for health care organisation in the U.S., Australia, the UK and the UAE.

Earlier in the day, she also met the officials of AP MedTech Zone, which envisions to put India on the global map of high-end medical equipment production and make healthcare products affordable and accessible not only for India but for world at large. Hridesh Kohli-General Manager, India, Synapse Medical Services accompanied Ms. Faux during her visit.
