A number of programmes have been planned ahead of Andhra University alumni meet scheduled for October 12.
As a part of it, cultural programmes will be held on the evening of October 7 at Dr. Ambedkar Assembly Hall. On October 8, a rally will be organised from Kali Matha temple on the Beach Road and flash mob on October 10 and 11.
Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao held a meeting with Vice-Chancellor G.S.N. Raju, Rector E.A. Narayana and Registrar V. Uma Maheswara Rao on the conduct of the alumni meet.
Besides conveying information to all the students, each department should extend invitation to them, receiving and hosting them.
The Minister spoke to some of the people’s representatives and film personalities who were alumni of the university.
