Andhra Pradesh, winner of the overall championship title several times, is fielding a 54-member team in the 52{+n}{+d}National roller sports championships (artistic) being conducted at Virar (Mumbai) from Wednesday to February 1.
All the roller-skaters have practised vigorously for the last many week and are in good form, according to a press release from president of AP Roller Skating Association Sudhakara Reddy. The association was confident of the team, consisting of many international medal winners, continuing its dominant show. CEAT sponsored tracksuits for team members. K. Chittibabu is the team’s coach and M. Simhadri manager. A. Pavan and Satyam are referees from AP to officiate in the championships.
