Air India to operate more domestic flights

Air India Chairman Rohit Nandan and Director (Commerical) Deepak Brar agreed to consider introduction of Visakhapatnam-Bangalore-Kochi and Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad-Port Blair sector, according to Rajya Sabha Member T. Subbarami Reddy.

Mr. Reddy held discussions with them in New Delhi on Thursday. Mr. Rohit Nandan also agreed to consider the introduction of Vizag-Hyderabad-Dubai flight by the first week of January 2012.

Mr. Reddy also met the Chairman of Airports Authority of India V.P. Agarwal and impressed upon him the need to start work on the third aerobridge at Visakhapatnam Airport.
