TDP, BJP vow to work for Madhav’s victory

With the declaration of P.V.N. Madhav of the BJP as the TDP-BJP nominee for the North Andhra Graduates’ constituency of the Legislative Council, the two parties on Thursday vowed to work together for his victory. Mr. Madhav will file his nomination on Saturday.

Associated with the BJYM right from student days, Mr. Madhav, a practising cost and management accountant, is the training pramukh of the party for the 13 districts.

Mr. Madhav told a press conference here that he was well-versed with the issues that hamper development of North Andhra in spite of its great potential. He was also fully aware of the problems of weavers and artisans. He reiterated his commitment for the railway zone here.

TDP (Urban) president and Visakhapatnam South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar said people would vote for Mr. Madhav seeing the development achieved since the 2014 elections.
