A second food plaza - Rail Dhaba - set up by Travel and Food Services (TFS) at Visakhapatnam Railway Station, was opened on the Gnanapuram-side of the railway station on Friday.
Rajani Rani, passenger of Damanjodi, who was travelling by Godavari Express to Secunderabad, inaugurated the new facility on Platform-8 in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Chandralekha Mukherjee.
The food plaza offers a mix of local, national and international food varieties.
The foods available include: noodles, Andhra tiffins, meals, Chinese, biryani, sweets, snacks and beverages.
Speaking on the occasion, the DRM said the food plaza has ‘five star facilities at dhaba prices’.
Apart from hygiene and food quality, the ambience is also attractive.
Senior Divisional Engineer (Headquarters) M. David Ralf, Divisional Commercial Manager (Coordination) G. Suneel Kumar and Station Director, Visakhapatnam, Dibakar Panda were present.
