HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday gave away silk saris worth ₹ 10,000, ₹ 7,000 and ₹ 5,000 to B. Lakshmi, B. Devi and Ch. Annapurna who stood first in the Rangoli contest conducted ahead of the Visakha Utsav to create awareness on the three-day utsav. In the programme conducted at AU Football Grounds, Joint Collector G. Srijana, VUDA Vice-Chairman T. Baburao Naidu and secretary Srinivas and District Tourism Officer Gnanaveni participated.
