Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch Andhra Pradesh Cloud Initiative on August 5 to make Sunrise AP the most preferred destination for companies looking for digital technology skills.
Miracle Software Systems, with headquarters in Detroit (United States) and huge establishment at Bhogapuram (Vizianagaram) and Rushikonda (Visakhapatnam), a prominent cloud systems integrator and global thought leader, will provide its resources along with few other companies to offer training to youngsters on digital technologies.
The plan is to create 100,000 digital technology professionals by conducting 400 hours of classes – both virtual and classroom at various locations all over the State. The initiative will be kick-started from Visakhapatnam by holding a training programme for three days on August 5.
Minister for IT and Communications Palle Raghunatha Reddy reviewed the arrangements for launching the initiative here on Saturday and said AP was the first State to launch such an initiative and said they were set to become leader in making use of digital technologies. No fees will be charged for admission into the course. Certification will be provided by Miracle Software.
The training will enable youngsters to attain knowledge on CAMSS – cloud, analytics, mobile, social and security. All these fields have huge employment opportunities at various levels. The programme is meant for completion in 18 months and one could get certification in six months.
Focus
It will focus on new technologies like Node.Js based on JavaScript. NoSQL has caught the imagination of the industry due to growing use of Cloudant and goDB. “Miracle Software will teach both Cloud Native Application Programming and the Cloud Administration to make AP the most preferred rendezvous for manpower with digital technology skills,” company’s CEO Prasad Lokam told The Hindu on Saturday.
The company’s two locations in North Andhra have 2,000 employees. It has plans to add at 1,000 by setting up a new facility at Rushikonda here.
Mr. Lokam said cloud had turned into ‘go-to’ solution for many enterprises interested to prune their cost on infrastructure and lay emphasis on IT solutions. Leveraging public cloud in the form of shared resources and private cloud or hybrid cloud (dedicated resources) are becoming most preferred options to cut down cost.
