New fire tender
NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Station has procured a new fire tender with latest features like 4000-litre capacity, 500-litre foam, 500 kg of dry chemical powder, four CO2 cylinders each with 22.5 kg.
Inaugurating the vehicle at Deepanjalinagar near here on Thursday, NTPC Simhadri Group General Manager A.K. Samanta said the fire tender with latest features would strengthen the fire fighting ability of the organisation.
General managers Santhosh James, S. Narendra, assistant general managers N.S. Rao, K.V. Prasad, and others were present.
