The second International Day of Yoga was a big hit with the industries with top executives as well as the executives taking part in the celebrations.
CII, Young Indians and Indian Women Network organised a yoga session for Industry members on the occasion in association with HSBC Electronic Data Processing Pvt. Ltd. CII Vizag zone chairman V. Murali Krishna and State Coordinator & Faculty, Art of Living Foundation Rani Sivvam were present.
At a programme conducted by RINL at Gurajada Kalakshetram, Ukkunagaram, Director (Personnel) G.B.S. Prasad and others along with their families participated in yoga demonstration. The event was organised by Sports Department in association with Patanjali and The Art of Living.
NTPC General Manager (O&M) M. Siva Rama Krishna inaugurated the Yoga Day programme at Simhadri Super Thermal Power Station at Deepanjalinagar. Several schoolchildren were present.
Dredging Corporation of India celebrated the day by organising a mass yoga session. Director (Finance) S. Charles, CVO V.V.S. Sreenivas, CVO and senior officials and employees of the PSU were among others who participated in the yoga camp.
Yoga Day was celebrated at HPCL, Black Oil Terminal, Malkapuram in a grand manner. Chief guest K. Venkata Rao from Patanjali Yoga Trust explained about the importance of yoga.
Several employees of industrial units and Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone took part in celebrations at Duvvada.
