On the occasion of the 50th anniversary celebrations, ISKCON Visakhapatnam chapter will be celebrating ‘Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra festival’ in Gajuwaka on Saturday, according to a press release here on Friday.
As part of the festival, the ratham has been specially built with a 35-feet-high collapsible canopy.
The procession will start from Old Gajuwaka Junction at 3.30 p.m. and will through the main road and culminate at new Gajuwaka Junction Bharat Petroleum Pump.
MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao will be inaugurating the procession.
There will be bhajan, kirtan and prasadam distribution throughout the procession.
