Former Registrar and professor of physics of Andhra University P.V.S. Rama Rao, has been invited to chair the inaugural session of the International Beacon Satellite Symposium (IBSS-2010) to be held at the University of Barcelona (Spain) from June 7 to 11.
The symposium mainly discusses the research topics related to the satellite based navigation and communication systems and the difficulties encountered due to the presence and dynamics of the Ionosphere in the upper atmospheric region.
Prof. Rama Rao is also one of the Co-Chairs of the International Beacon Satellite Studies group of Commission–G of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI).
