It was a trip down memory lane for 40 students of the 1972 batch of 10th Class students of St. Anthony's School, Maharanipeta, when they met after 38 years on Sunday.
The reunion, organised on the theme ‘Relive 72', witnessed the ‘old friends' recalling the happy days and memories of those times. They had all completed their school life in 1972 and had settled in life as bankers, doctors, engineers, software professionals, directors, top executives in the corporate world, teachers, professors, advocates, businessmen and Government servants. Many of them have settled abroad in good positions.
They recalled the contribution of the Head Master Rev. Fr. K. Joji Babu who used to handle the children in the right manner. They mourned those friends and teachers who are no more.
The old students decided to do their bit to revive the past glory of their school. A committee was formed to work out the modalities after discussing the issue with the present management. The event was coordinated by Vasireddy Sreemanth, KBG Singh and Jagan Mohan.
