In all, 23,793 candidates will appear for the AP Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)-2015 on May 8 at 46 centres in the Visakhapatnam region.
Out of them, 17,187 will appear for the engineering stream (from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and 6,606 for the agriculture and medicine stream (from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.).
Regional Coordinator of EAMCET and professor of AU College of Engineering K. Venkata Subbaiah said that the candidates should reach their respective examination centres one hour before the commencement of the test. They would be allowed into the examination hall from 9.15 a.m. (morning session ) and 1.45 p.m. (afternoon session). No candidate would be allowed into the hall after 10 a.m. for engineering test and 2.30 p.m. for the agriculture and medicine test. Candidates would not be allowed to go out once they entered the examination hall till the test concluded.
Candidates can bring only ball point pens of blue or black ink, hall-ticket and filled-in online application form. They should not take calculators, mobile phones, and other electronic gadgets to the examination hall.
Attestation
A passport sized photo of the candidate has to be attested by a gazetted officer or principal of the college where the candidate has studied and pasted on the online application form. This should be handed over to the invigilator after signing and affixing left-hand thumb impression in the presence of the invigilator. Candidates are also advised to put their signature and left hand thumb impression on the photo identity sheet and nominal roll.
Students of SC and ST categories have to submit an attested copy of the caste certificate along with confirmation page to the invigilator.
The OMR sheet must not be folded. It has to be returned to the invigilator.
