204 Mee Seva centres to come up in district

The district has been sanctioned 376 “Mee Seva” centres and for 204 of the centres letters of sanction were given away by Collector Pravin Kumar on Monday.

Joint Collector G. Srijana and special deputy collector Rajeswari were present.

New service

Meanwhile, a proposal has been sent to the government for a new service to rectify registration of jirayiti land as that of the government under Section 22-A of the Registration Act. However, the proposal is still pending with the government. But people may submit any grievance about registration of jirayiti land as government land seeking rectification at “Mee Seva” centres from Monday as the service was inaugurated by Collector Pravin Kumar. an official release said.

Notices issued

Notices asking for explanation have been issued to 13 officials who absented themselves to the video conference organised by the Collector. Mr. Pravin Kumar held the video conference with tahsildars and mandal officials from Sabbavaram on Saturday.
