YSRC celebrates Jagan’s birthday

Leaders and activists of YSR Congress celebrated party president Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy’s 40 birthday by organising various programmes on Saturday.

Former MLA Vangaveeti Radha organised an ‘annadanam’ programme at Navjeevan Bal Bhavan near the railway station. He organised lunch for over 200 orphans at the Bal Bhavan. Clothes and bed sheets were also given to the children.

Vijayawada Central Constituency in-charge P. Gowtham Reddy launched a three-day free medical camp at Nadar’s Kalyanamandapam in Satyanarayanapuram on the occasion. Over 300 people from BPL segment attended the camp. He also undertook a road cleaning programme from Food Junction to Bhanu Nagar on the BRTS Road.

Mr. Gowtham Reddy and YSR Congress spokesperson Ambati Rambabu also conducted a one-day free medical camp in the 57 ward in Payakapuram.

40-kg cake cut

Earlier in the day, he along with party cadre cut a 40-kg cake and distributed fruit and sweets to the residents of Ajit Singh Nagar, Durgapuram, Maruthi Nagar, Vijaya Talkies, and Vambay Colony.

Party’s city unit convener Jaleel Khan organised an all-religion prayer on the Main Raod in the One Town area. A 40-kg cake was also cut and distributed among the residents of the area. He also gave away blankets and clothes to poor people.

YSR Congress district publicity wing convener S. Venkateswara Reddy cut a cake along with the cadre at Gandinagar Press Club and gave away fruit and sweets to orphan children of SKCV Trust.

Party’s district medical wing convener Mehboob Sheikh organised a free medical camp at the YSR Congress party office at Seetharampuram. Medicines, milk packets, and fruit were distributed free of cost to people who attended the camp.
