A two-day workshop began on Monday with the Delhi Public School, Vijayawada management taking special interest in benefitting the teachers on thinking skills.

Prominent educationists from Swausea University, Wales, United Kingdom, were the resource persons conducting this workshop. A solid research work to back up the educational initiatives started by the couple in the field of Professional Development for teachers / education to maximize the learning outcomes among children brought an hour of good experience before the teachers.

This husband and wife duo of Dave Handley and Dr. Sue Lyle are returning to India for the third year to carry out professional development programmes with teachers. The interactive session interspersed with meaningful activities and hands – on – experience offered a new insight into the teachers' process of learning, strategies to arrive at the desired learning outcome. The workshop is centred around assessment for learning and thinking skills.
