‘Varevva Vanithalu’ fund raiser by Rotary Club

Rotary Club of Guntur Aadarsh is conducting a special fund raising event – “Varevva Vanithalu,” (Sunday for ladies) at Subham Convention Hall here on Sunday.

The fund raising event is being held with an aim to support the students through scholarships.

The fun filled event has an array of competitions for women like “Friends Forever,” “Fashion Show,” “Hair Dressing,” and the most eagerly awaited event – Tambola, etc.

Programme Convener Mattupalli Sunitha along with president B. Ashoka and secretary P. Lakshmi Rani said at a press conference held on Friday that prizes would be given to the winners. Little Planet, a mobile showroom has come up with Rs.20,000 worth gift vouchers.

Ms. Sunitha said that Rotary Club of Guntur Aadarsh has been helping the Guntur Municipal Corporation to improve sanitation, meet the educational needs of the students and providing drinking water and scholarships to students through fund raising events like these.

The Club has provided scientific equipment worth Rs.1.5 lakh to schools.
