Two NCC students win medals in All India Nav Sainik camp

Two NCC cadets, B. Sai Krishna and Hemanth Chakravarthy, of P.B. Siddhartha Arts and Science College, 8th NCC Naval Unit, won silver medals in the All India Nav Sainik camp, organised in Visakhapatnam.

Sai Krishna is studying second year B.Sc. and Hemanth is pursuing third year B. Com in the college. They participated in the camp that concluded on October 13, said college principal M. Ramesh and director V. Babu Rao.

The two cadets won medals in ‘Seaman ship’ and ‘Ship designing’, said Siddhartha College NCC Naval Unit officer Sub Lt. A. Venkatesh.

About 600 cadets from all over the country participated in the sainik camp and exhibited their talent, according to 8th Naval Unit commanding officer K.P. Shaik.

Siddhartha Academy president Nalluri Venkateshwarlu, secretary Paladugu Venkateswara Rao, college convener Sureddy Venkateswara Rao and others appreciated the NCC cadets for winning medals.
