The RVR & JC college of Engineering in Guntur launched a short-term training programme for the faculty members of engineering colleges on energy management of smart and micro-grids with Internet of Things (IoT) software.

“By increasing the amount of power generation through renewable sources such as solar and wind at the domestic level, future structure of the electric grids will have a drastic change and will play a vital role in public and private transportation systems,” said D. Ramakrishna, CEO, Efftronics.

College principal Kota Srinivasu said it was time the faculty of engineering colleges caught up with latest and upcoming technology to keep up with the current research programmes.
