Tickets, laddus fetch Rs. 17.16 lakh

Sri Kanaka Durga temple generated Rs. 17.16 lakh from sale of laddus and darshan tickets on Monday. The temple received Rs. 12.45 lakh through sale of laddus, and Rs. 2.47 lakh through sale of pulihora. The kesakhandana, tonsuring, fetched Rs. 87,300 and another Rs. 70,000 through donations, according to temple executive officer Ch. Narsing Rao.

As many as 30,000 devotees utilised the services at 16 medical camps being operated for pilgrims in the last seven days, according to DM&HO Nagamalleswari.
