TDLP plea to Governor

February 28, 2012 02:08 pm | Updated 02:08 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

The Telugu Desam Legislature Party has urged Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to censor the misconduct of Secondary Education Minister K. Parthasarathy in Assembly.

The TDLP said that the minister on the floor of House has asserted that the houses under the government housing programme would be allotted only to Congress cadre and selection would be done by them. It was quite unfortunate and undemocratic that a minister declared that that the government schemes would be exclusively given only to Congress cadre.

He was, in fact, gestured in a vulgar manner in the Assembly using obscene and filthy language towards opposition benches.

The Speaker could not control him, the TDLP said, and urged the Governor to censor misconduct of the minister.
