Its school vacations, time for children to scamper to the nearest summer camp. Activities galore for children at the several summer camps that pop up at almost every nook and cranny of the city.
City-based Robo Club is inviting kids to join exciting sessions of learning the latest technology the fun way.
The organisers promise to impart hands-on training to the participants by pushing the boundaries of creativity and imagination. The themes selected for the camp have been successfully tested as part of their ongoing curriculum. The advantages of joining this camp include familiarisation with multiple technology and its perspectives.
Teachers at the Robo Club are equally eager to share their knowledge with the participants on what they call STEM where ‘S’ stands for ‘magic of simple machines and basic electric circuits, ‘T’ for ‘technology, ‘E’ for ‘engineering design and ‘M’ for Math: Axis, one dimension.
A robot is a mechanical or virtual artificial agent, usually an electromechanical machine that is guided by a computer program or electronic circuitry. Robots can be autonomous or semi-autonomous; a robot may convey a sense of intelligence or thought of its own.
The participants are also encouraged to take part in Robot Olympiads which requires teams consisting of two or three students, the programme demands dedication and time commitment and working together promotes a great deal of camaraderie.
