Government principal advisor E. Sreedharan on Thursday examined designs prepared by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the proposed metro rail in the city.

He inspected several locations in the proposed Metro route - the Pandit Nehru Bus Station, railway station, Alankar Centre, Eluru Road, Gunadala Centre etc. to assess the ground realities vis-a-vis designs. He is learnt to have asked officials to take up two flyovers which are under construction near Gunadala before finalising the designs and plans. He suggested them to coordinate with the departments concerned.
