Set goals in college days, says Yandamoori

Noted writer and motivational expert Yandamoori Veerendranath advised the young generation to set definite goals of their lives during their college days itself so that they would be able carve out glowing and fulfilling careers for themselves in future. It would be easy to get better results in examinations and in life as well, he added.

Speaking as chief guest at the inaugural function of Young Tarang programme organised for the students by the Rotary Club of Vijayawada Mid Town here on Saturday, Mr. Veerendranath said that the fear complex would not be of any help for the students when they were facing the interviews. Instead of fearing making mistakes, the youngsters should get confidence and speak boldly what they knew so as to gain the good impression of the interview board.

The programme was organised at the Potti Sriramulu College of Engineering and Technology at Kothapet in which many students participated.

Stating that one would definitely achieve goals with some hard work and determination, Mr. Veerendranath said that the students should not waste their time and observe discipline and regularity in following their subject lessons for best results. He said that the young ones should gather some general knowledge also in addition to the good results in their prescribed subjects.

Rotary club president K. Venkateswara Rao, secretary G. Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
