SCR is in forefront in maintaining transparency, says vigilance chief

Work with commitment and be accountable to tax payers, officers told

South Central Railway (SCR) Senior Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Chandrima Roy has asked the officers and staff to work with commitment and be accountable to the tax payers.

She along with Divisional Railway Manager P. Srinivas and other officers participated in a seminar organised by SCR in connection with the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week at Rail Auditorium here on Wednesday.

Addressing the officers, Ms. Roy said the theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week is to renew the commitment and transparency and the employees should introspect themselves on their duties and responsibilities.

e-DAS

SCR is in the forefront in implementing all schemes and maintaining transparency, the CVO said and congratulated the officers and staff of Vijayawada division for successfully implementing e-DAS.

The DRM has appealed to the staff to be vigilant and work for well being of the organisation. He asked the officers to get feedback from the staff and respect those who work with integrity.

Additional DRMs M.V.S. Ramaraju and G. Sumana spoke. Earlier, Ms. Roy and Mr. Srinivas distributed prizes to the winners in the competitions organised in connection with the Vigilance Awareness Week.

Officers from the headquarters gave a power point presentation on the awareness week and on integrity. Staff of Personnel department performed a skit titled ‘Dhoshi’ on the occasion.
