‘SBI has struck it rich in Amaravati’

The volume growth of the home loan segment in the Amaravati region is the highest in the country for the year 2017-2018, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Amaravati circle, Mani Palvesan has said.

The credit-deposit ratio of SBI, Amaravati, is 86 %, which is highest among all branches in the country, Mr. Palvesan said here before giving away cheques to the beneficiaries of the Mudra Scheme.

The SBI has 1,380 branches across the country and the Amaravati circle is leading in both the home loan and agricultural deposit segments.

App launched

The target for Mudra loans for the year 2018-19 is ₹l 2,000 crore out of which ₹750 crore has been disbursed.

Stating that the SBI has constantly updated its features, he said that a mobile application ‘Yono,’ with which customers can carry out a range of transactions, including withdrawal of money without credit/debit card, has been introduced.
