Telugu Desam Party Polit Bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has asked the IAS Officers Association members to reveal the list of corrupt ministers and the names of beneficiary companies.
Addressing the newsmen here on Sunday, the TDP senior leader said the then Chief Minister and the ministers who signed on the files sanctioning the projects were also responsible for the scams and irregularities.
All the accused should be booked as per law, he said.
Stating that this is the first time in the history of the State that a big number of IAS officers and ministers are facing police cases which was a shame for AP, the TDP leader said IAS officers will only advise to the Government.
But, the Chief Minister and the Cabinet took the final decisions and sanction approval for the projects.
So it is not correct to say that only bureaucrats were responsible for misuse of public money, said Mr. Ramakrishnudu.
The former Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman said there was no administration in the State due to clash between the IAS officers and the Cabinet.
Due to poor coordination between the ministers and the bureaucrats, no file was moving and the ultimate sufferers are the public.
Even the situation at the Centre is the same.
The Union Home Minister and the Prime Minister were facing corrupt allegations, he said.
Launching an attack on former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekara Reddy, the former minister said though YSR is not alive now, he was the prime accused in all the scams.
He tamed corruption and the corrupt leaders and looted the State.
“Just to make his son ‘crorepathi', YSR has roped in some ministers and the IAS officers into the scams. So, we request the bureaucrats to tell the names of the ministers who brought pressure on them for clearing the files'', he said.
“CBI is not acting against the beneficiaries and the ministers. By March 31, the CBI should file the chargesheet. We hope the CBI will not leave anyone involved in the scam'', Mr. Ramakrishnudu said .
