Relief material sent to Kerala

The Guntur division of South Central Railway has transported two tonnes of relief material contributed by local NGOs, collected by the railway authorities at the help desk established at Guntur Railway station by Sabari Express.

The material would be handed over to District Collector, Alappuzha to distribute in flood affected areas.

The material included 650 kg rice, 1,000 bed sheets, 10,000 biscuit packets, 500 lungis, 40 kg dal, 10 kg salt, according to a release from senior divisional commercial manager, K. Umamaheswara Rao.
